New chemo spray aims to ease suffering from abdominal cancer spread

Summary

This study tests a new method called PIPAC that sprays chemotherapy directly into the abdomen as a fine mist. It is for people with advanced cancer that has spread to the lining of the belly and who cannot have surgery to remove it. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and can help reduce symptoms. About 25 adults will take part in this early-phase trial in Singapore.
