NCT ID NCT06504342
First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This pilot study tested two simple, drug-free therapies—time-restricted eating and blue-blocking glasses—for people hospitalized with mania from bipolar disorder. The goal was to see if these approaches are feasible and safe, and whether they can help calm manic symptoms and restore normal sleep-wake cycles. The study involved 21 participants and will guide a larger trial to test these therapies alone and together.
