First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether providing online webinars, digital tools, and a logbook can help adults at high risk for breast cancer become more physically active. Participants (200 women aged 30-69) will either receive the full motivation package or just standard activity recommendations. The goal is to see if the extra support helps them meet exercise guidelines and improve quality of life.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Physical activity motivation package (online webinars, digital tools, and logbook)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a simple, scalable way to help high-risk individuals become more active, potentially lowering their breast cancer risk.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage behavioral study with 200 participants, so results may not apply broadly. The intervention relies on self-reported activity, which can be inaccurate.
