Can peer videos get cancer patients moving?
NCT ID NCT02867475
Summary
This study aimed to understand what breast cancer patients think about physical activity during chemotherapy and whether watching motivational videos from other patients could encourage them to exercise. Researchers surveyed 422 sedentary breast cancer patients about their beliefs and fatigue levels, then tested if videos featuring peers with different motivations influenced patients' intentions to be active. The goal was to gather information to design better programs that help patients stay active during treatment.
