First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether shining a specific red light on bedsores (pressure ulcers) can help them heal faster. About 46 ICU patients with stage II bedsores will either get the light treatment plus standard care, or standard care alone, for 14 days. Researchers will track wound size and healing scores to see if the light makes a difference.
