First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding laser light therapy to standard wound care can help heal hard-to-heal ulcers in frail older adults who receive home healthcare. About 1,290 people with different types of ulcers (like pressure sores or leg ulcers) will take part. The main goal is to see if the laser treatment speeds up healing and reduces the chance of the ulcer coming back.
