First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 36 times

Summary

This study looks at how well the body handles phosphate from food as people age and whether men and women respond differently. Researchers will give a phosphate drink to 40 healthy volunteers aged 18-25 and 63-70, then measure phosphate levels in the blood. The goal is to understand age-related kidney changes that may affect mineral balance.
