Can a smartphone app save lives after a hospital stay?
NCT ID NCT05847582
Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether a new phone app, combined with therapy skills training, is practical and acceptable for people leaving the hospital after a suicide crisis who also misuse alcohol. The goal is to see if the app can help people use coping skills in their daily lives during the risky month after discharge. Researchers will measure if people can be recruited, stay in the study, and find the app helpful, while also checking for changes in suicidal thoughts and alcohol use.
