Bean extract may tame blood sugar spikes after carbs
NCT ID NCT07466667
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a supplement called Phaseolean, made from white kidney beans, can help healthy adults keep their blood sugar steady after eating carb-rich foods like white bread. Twelve participants will take different doses of the supplement or a control before a meal, and their blood sugar and feelings of fullness will be measured. It's an early, small study in healthy people, so any benefits are uncertain and not yet proven for those with diabetes.
