First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether a genetic test can help doctors choose the best antidepressant for people with major depression. 570 adults in Morocco will be randomly assigned to either treatment guided by their genetic results or standard care. The goal is to see if the genetic approach leads to higher remission rates and fewer side effects over 12 weeks.
