First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This early-stage study tests whether adding specially-made viruses (phages) to standard antibiotics can safely treat stubborn lung infections in adults with cystic fibrosis. About 30 participants will receive a 7-day course of both treatments. The main goal is to check safety, but researchers will also measure changes in bacteria levels and lung function.
