Zapping the brain to help stroke survivors find their words again

NCT ID NCT06842745

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of personalized brain stimulation and intensive speech therapy can improve language skills in people with mild aphasia after a stroke. Researchers will compare real brain stimulation to a fake version to see if it helps with conversation and comprehension. The goal is to find a more effective treatment for the language difficulties that affect many stroke survivors.
