Scientists reprogram Patients' own cells to hunt their cancer

NCT ID NCT03412877

Summary

This study is testing a personalized cell therapy for people with metastatic cancer that has not responded to standard treatments. Doctors take a patient's own white blood cells, genetically modify them in a lab to better recognize and attack their specific cancer, and then infuse them back into the patient. The goal is to see if this approach can shrink tumors in patients with various advanced cancers.
