Matching medicine to your body: new hope for better sleep in down syndrome

NCT ID NCT07280468

Summary

This study aims to find a better way to treat sleep apnea in people with Down syndrome. It will test if choosing a treatment based on a person's specific breathing problems works better than giving everyone the same two-drug combination. Researchers will enroll 200 children and adults to compare these approaches over one year, measuring sleep quality, thinking skills, behavior, and quality of life.
