NCT ID NCT05332639
First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 29, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study is testing a new web-based tool that gives personalized risk estimates for Crohn's disease to healthy people who have a close family member with inflammatory bowel disease. The goal is to see if learning their personal risk motivates them to make healthy lifestyle changes, like improving diet or quitting smoking, which might lower their chances of developing Crohn's. About 80 participants will use the tool and be followed for 6 months to see if it changes their behavior and health markers.
