First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving extra riboflavin (vitamin B2) and folate to pregnant women with a specific gene change can help prevent high blood pressure. About 2250 women in early pregnancy will join, and those with the gene variant will receive either the vitamins or a placebo. The goal is to find a simple, non-drug way to manage blood pressure during pregnancy and improve health for both mother and baby.
