Could a diet tailored to your body type stop diabetes before it starts?
NCT ID NCT06923644
Summary
This study is testing if a personalized diet plan works better than standard healthy eating advice to prevent type 2 diabetes. Researchers will enroll 240 overweight adults and use a computer model to group them by their metabolism and body type. One group will get a diet custom-made for their group, while the other gets a standard diet, to see which better improves blood sugar control over one year.
