Lab-Grown tumors test drugs for tough cancers
NCT ID NCT07264803
Summary
This study is testing a new, personalized approach to treat advanced cancers that are no longer responding to standard therapies. Doctors will take a small sample of a patient's tumor and grow it in a lab to create a 'mini-tumor' model. They will then test many different cancer drugs on this model to see which ones work best before recommending a treatment plan for the patient.
