Scientists use ultrasound to see inside muscles after massage
NCT ID NCT07367243
Summary
This study aims to understand how a single session of percussive massage affects the internal structure of calf muscles in healthy young adults. Researchers will use ultrasound imaging to measure muscle thickness and fiber arrangement before and after the massage. The results will help clarify what immediate physical changes this popular therapy creates in muscles.
