Can a magnetic device and daily vitamins speed up wrist fracture recovery?
NCT ID NCT07352501
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether adding a daily supplement (vitamins D, K, C, magnesium, zinc, copper) to pulsed electromagnetic field therapy helps women aged 45-55 heal faster from a wrist fracture. Sixty women will either use the device alone or the device plus supplement for 30 days. Researchers will check pain, bone healing, and swelling at 15 and 30 days.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy and a daily supplement containing vitamin D, vitamin K, magnesium, vitamin C, zinc, and copper
- What this could lead to
- If it works, this could point toward a faster, more effective recovery plan for wrist fractures in middle-aged women.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small, early-stage trial with only 60 women, so results may not apply to everyone. The supplement may not add significant benefit over the device alone.
