New drug combo aims to control advanced lung cancer

Summary

This study tests whether combining two drugs, pembrolizumab and vorinostat, can help control advanced non-small cell lung cancer. About 120 adults with stage IV lung cancer will receive either the combination or pembrolizumab alone. The goal is to see if the combination is safe and delays cancer growth.
