New radiation therapy battle: which treatment fights bone cancer best?

Summary
This study compares three different approaches for treating pelvic bone cancers (sarcomas) to see which one works best. Researchers are testing carbon ion radiation therapy against traditional surgery and proton radiation therapy. They want to find out which treatment gives patients better quality of life and better control of their cancer. The study will follow 72 patients for up to five years, tracking their health outcomes and side effects.
