First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looked at whether pelvic floor muscle training can help women aged 40-60 who had gynecologic surgery (like hysterectomy or prolapse repair) feel better and improve their quality of life. 48 women took part. The goal was to see if early physiotherapy, including pelvic floor exercises and lifestyle changes, could reduce symptoms like urinary incontinence and pelvic discomfort. The study measured distress and quality of life using standard questionnaires.
