NCT ID NCT07417722

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether adding mud therapy (peloidotherapy) to standard care (wrist splint and exercises) can further reduce pain and improve hand function in people with mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome. 70 adults took part, with half receiving mud therapy plus standard care and the other half receiving standard care alone. Researchers measured pain, hand function, and nerve ultrasound results before, during, and after treatment.
