Summary
This study looks at whether having a peer specialist—a fellow veteran trained to help—can encourage veterans to use mental health apps more often and reduce their psychological distress. About 384 veterans from three VA clinics will take part. The goal is to see how much peer support is needed to make a real difference in symptoms like depression, anxiety, and trouble sleeping.
