Can online peer practice match Face-to-Face for future doctors?

NCT ID NCT07186569

First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looked at whether digital peer support can help medical students learn clinical skills as well as in-person sessions. About 100 first-year students were split into three groups: online peer practice, face-to-face peer practice, or standard training. They took a practical exam right after training and again later to see how well they remembered the skills. The goal was to find better ways to teach future doctors without using drugs or devices.
