Summary
This study is testing whether having a trained peer supporter helps people with HIV get better care for mental health or substance use problems. About 405 participants at a Johns Hopkins clinic were randomly assigned to either receive this peer support or continue with their usual care. The main goal is to see if this approach helps people better manage their HIV and get treatment for other health issues.
