First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests a program where trained mothers (peer supporters) help new mothers facing severe poverty or homelessness to breastfeed. About 50 mothers at a French hospital will receive support, and researchers will track how many complete the program. The goal is to see if this approach is acceptable and practical, not to cure or treat a disease.
