First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests an 8-week group program called PEEPS for people with endometriosis-related chronic pelvic pain. Participants attend weekly sessions with others and get education and support, in addition to their usual care. The goal is to see if this approach reduces how much pain interferes with daily life, compared to just receiving an educational handout.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a new, non-surgical way to manage chronic pelvic pain and improve quality of life for people with endometriosis.
What could go wrong
This is a small pilot study with only 60 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The program requires in-person attendance, which may be a barrier for some.
