New study aims to unlock secrets of childhood germ cell tumors

Summary

This study follows over 1,100 children and teens diagnosed with germ cell tumors to learn about short- and long-term side effects from treatment, especially hearing loss. Researchers will also analyze tumor DNA and other markers to better predict which patients might have a relapse. The goal is to improve future treatment plans and reduce harm.
