Summary

This study will test a 3-month lifestyle program for 400 Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander adults who have conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, or overweight. The program includes 8 lessons on healthy living and 4 sessions on social factors that affect health, delivered by community health workers. Researchers will check if the program improves weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar over 9 months.
