Summary
This study is investigating whether eating a meal containing peanuts causes less inflammation in the blood after eating compared to a meal high in saturated fat. Researchers are measuring blood markers in 17 older adults with overweight or obesity after they eat each type of meal. The goal is to gather knowledge about how peanuts might help promote health and prevent disease in this age group.
