Summary
This study tests whether adding pea fiber to the daily diet of people on kidney dialysis can reduce harmful waste products (uremic toxins) in their blood. About 72 adults on dialysis will eat special baked goods with or without pea fiber for 8 weeks. The goal is to see if this simple food change lowers toxin levels and improves markers of heart health.
