NCT ID NCT06533007
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at how a small change in the PDE3B gene affects the way the body handles fat and sugar. Researchers will compare two groups of people—those with the gene change and those without—to see differences in fat tissue function and overall metabolism. The goal is to understand if targeting this gene could help prevent or treat conditions like type 2 diabetes and heart disease. About 40 adults aged 21-75 will take part.
