Summary
This study uses health records from 17,000 Canadian adults to understand why some people switch from peritoneal dialysis (done at home) to hemodialysis (done in a clinic). Researchers will look at how often this happens, what predicts it, and what happens to patients after the switch, such as hospital stays or survival. The goal is to help doctors and patients plan better care during these transitions.
