First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at whether measuring Aspergillus fumigatus DNA in blood or lung fluid can help predict outcomes in patients with invasive aspergillosis, a serious fungal lung infection. Researchers will track 100 adults to see if changes in PCR levels during treatment relate to survival at 30 days. The goal is to improve monitoring and treatment decisions for this high-risk condition.
