Summary
This study looked at whether a special type of scan (PET/CT) can help doctors see if treatment for a serious fungal lung infection is working earlier than usual. It involved 51 adults with blood cancer and invasive pulmonary aspergillosis. The goal was to see if the scan results matched other lab tests and could guide treatment decisions.
