Tailored implants aim to simplify jaw cyst treatment

NCT ID NCT06688851

First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests whether custom-made implants can help treat odontogenic cysts (fluid-filled sacs in the jaw) by relieving pressure. About 20 adults with these cysts will receive a patient-specific implant anchored to the jawbone. Researchers will check if the cyst heals, if it comes back, and if there are any complications like bleeding or nerve damage.
