New tool helps ER patients choose opioid treatment

Summary

This study is developing and testing a simple decision aid to help people with opioid use disorder decide whether to start buprenorphine treatment in the emergency department. About 20 adults will try the tool and share their feedback. The goal is to see if the tool helps patients feel more informed and confident about their treatment choice.
