Summary
This study tests whether gentle touch from a father can improve sucking, comfort, and blood sugar levels in newborns at risk for hypoglycemia. About 98 babies will be randomly assigned to receive either routine care or 15-minute gentle touch sessions from their father every hour for the first 6 hours of life. Researchers will measure comfort, breastfeeding success, and glucose levels to see if this simple, non-invasive approach makes a difference.
