NCT ID NCT05935670
First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at how blood moves through leg muscles in people who have had a stroke compared to healthy adults. Researchers used ultrasound to measure blood flow during passive leg movement and active muscle contractions. The goal was to understand why stroke survivors often have reduced exercise ability and higher risk of another stroke. The study also tested whether a technique called ischemic conditioning could improve blood flow.
