Summary

This study looks at a type of radiation therapy for early-stage breast cancer where tiny radioactive seeds are placed directly into the breast after a lumpectomy. The goal is to improve the technique and see how well patients tolerate it, as well as compare costs with other radiation methods. The study includes 75 women over 55 with small, low-grade tumors.
