Video games tested to help Parkinson's patients walk better
NCT ID NCT02469350
Summary
This small study tested whether a video game-based rehabilitation program is practical and acceptable for people with Parkinson's disease who have ongoing walking and balance problems, despite having a deep brain stimulator. It involved 10 participants to see if they could and would use the games. The main goal was to check if this approach is feasible, not to prove it improves symptoms.
