First seen Jan 14, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving a single dose of paracetamol or ibuprofen before nose surgery (septorhinoplasty) can reduce the need for stronger opioid painkillers during and after the operation. Researchers will enroll 54 adults and measure total opioid use, pain scores, and recovery quality over 24 hours. The goal is to find a safer, effective way to manage pain with fewer side effects.
