Summary

This pilot study tests whether a special MRI dye called hyperpolarized 13-C-pyruvate can help doctors tell the difference between harmless and dangerous pancreatic cysts. About 20 adults with pancreatic cysts who are scheduled for surgery will receive the dye and have an MRI scan. The goal is to see if the dye is safe and if it can improve detection of high-risk cysts before surgery.
