New drug duo battles tough pancreatic cancer

NCT ID NCT04820179

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of two drugs, atezolizumab and cabozantinib, can help control advanced pancreatic cancer that has spread and stopped responding to standard chemotherapy. It will involve about 30 patients to see if the treatment is safe and if it can shrink tumors, slow disease progression, or extend life. The goal is to find a new treatment option for a cancer with very limited choices.
