First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated Apr 15, 2026

Summary

This study aims to find out if people who have recently developed diabetes or whose diabetes has gotten much worse are at higher risk for pancreatic cancer. Researchers will use MRI scans and regular blood tests over three years to screen 800 adults over 50 for early signs of pancreatic cancer. The goal is to see if this screening approach can help detect this serious cancer earlier in this specific group of people.
