Scientists watch pancreatic cancer evolve in real time
NCT ID NCT05195281
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at how pancreatic cancer changes over time in people receiving chemotherapy. Researchers take small tissue samples from the tumor at diagnosis and again after treatment to see if the cancer's genetic type has shifted. The goal is to better understand how the cancer adapts, which could guide future treatments. About 80 adults with non-spreading pancreatic cancer will take part.
