Electric fields join radiation in fight against pancreatic cancer
NCT ID NCT05679674
Summary
This study is testing whether combining precise radiation therapy with a wearable device that creates electric fields around the tumor can slow the growth of locally advanced pancreatic cancer. All 48 participants will receive five days of targeted radiation while wearing the device for at least 18 hours daily, continuing until the cancer progresses or side effects become severe. The goal is to control the tumor's growth and delay its spread to other parts of the body.
