Summary
This study looks at whether adding a palliative care team to standard leukemia care helps people with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) feel better and have better end-of-life planning. About 320 adults receiving non-intensive therapy will take part. The goal is to improve quality of life, mood, and how early patients discuss their care wishes.
