New study: can extra support improve life for blood cancer patients?

Summary
This study looks at whether adding a palliative care team to standard leukemia treatment helps people with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) feel better and have better end-of-life planning. About 320 patients receiving non-intensive therapy will take part. The goal is to improve quality of life, mood, and how well end-of-life wishes are documented.
